“Gillie” (Gilligan)

This is our Gilligan or “Gillie” as her volunteer friends like to call her. She is a seven year old brindle staffordshire terrier mix with an amazingly sweet personality. Gillie came to the shelter with her buddy Jimmy. Their human dad had recently needed to re-home them for financial reasons. Their new family, including some small children, worked well except for conflicts with their cat. Because of that conflict, both were turned into the shelter and we recommend they not be placed in a home with cats or small animals.

Gillie is very gentle to walk and, like her buddy Jimmy, loves to stop, roll around on her back, and get a belly rub. Her gentle nature and good behavior when coming to the shelter tells us she was well cared for and given training in all the basic commands like “sit” and “stay.” She is a perfect, gentle companion– come meet her today!
