Jimmy

This is our five year old light brown brindle staffordshire terrier mix, Jimmy. Jimmy and his friend, Gilligan, came to the shelter together. Their human dad had recently needed to re-home them for financial reasons. Their new family, including some small children, worked well except for conflicts with their cat. Because of that conflict, both were turned into the shelter and we recommend they not be placed in a home with cats or small animals.

When Jimmy looks at you with his amazing golden yellow eyes he will definitely touch your heart. He is easy to walk and like his good friend Gilligan loves to stop, roll around on his back, and get a belly rub. His gentle nature and good behavior when coming to the shelter indicates he was well cared for and given training in all the basic commands like "sit" and "stay." He has been mannerly with all of the other shelter dogs he has met on walks, and would make a wonderful easy-going companion.
