The MoonWalk New York City is a marathon (26.2 miles) that women and men Power Walk… overnight…in decorated bras. All money raised here in New York will be granted to the Breast Examination Center at Memorial Sloan-Kettering Cancer Center.

The very first MoonWalk in America will take place in New York City on Saturday July 20, 2013. Home base will be Randall’s Island. We’ll start here at around 8pm, with a fantastic celebration, including bands, comedians, entertainers, dancing, and a healthy light dinner. At approximately 10pm, we’ll take it to the streets, crossing over the footbridge and down along the East River. Then, we’ll loop around and head north up the West side before returning to Randall’s Island. We’ll be using a combination of well-lit pedestrian paths and sidewalks, with some street closings. The full loop is 26.2 miles and there will be a 13.1 mile option, but you’ll have to choose your route in advance.
