Kathy Millar
Weeknights 7pm - 12mid

Kathy Millar began her radio career as a college junior at WPSC-AM, the campus station at William Paterson University in 1975. While still in school, she was hired as a weekend DJ at WNNJ-AM in Newton, NJ, becoming the station’s midday host and music director after graduation.
She was hired as a weekender at WDHA in Morristown, NJ in 1979, became one of the original Shadow Traffic reporters in early 1980, then moved to a full-time DJ position at WDHA later that year, a position she held until 1992 when she returned to Shadow to do news and traffic fills. In the meantime, she obtained an MA in Communication Arts from WPU, which enabled her to teach Broadcasting-related classes at several area colleges and universities.
Kathy left Shadow for the morning co-host/newscaster position at Lite-FM in 1996, where she worked until 1999. During that time, she became interested in the mind-body connection, finished her second MA in Psychology/Counseling, and graduated from the Institute for Therapeutic Massage.
In addition to her radio career, Kathy is a Licensed Massage Therapist, Certified Reflexologist, and Third-Degree Reiki. She is the winner of over twenty broadcasting awards, including several for the public affairs programs she wrote, produced and hosted, and for noteworthy artist interviews. She also is a voice-over artist, with a repertoire ranging from medical narrations to the voice of a singing cockroach.
In her spare time, Kathy enjoys in-line skating, swimming, hiking, reading, singing, playing the guitar (badly), and cooking for family and friends.
