St. Matthias Carnival
The St. Matthias carnival will have its 24th Carnival. Amusements of America provide the rides for all ages with over 15 rides. Our food tent has everything from pretzels to our famous funnel cakes. Of the 15 games that we provide there are 2 water games, money wheel, candy and many more. Super 50-50 Drawing at 9pm Sunday Don't for get to buy some chances for our SUPER 50-50. Last year the winner won $19,305!

Annual Pancreatic Cancer Walk
Middlesex County Office of Public Health in association with The Cancer Institute of NJ and ParamCARE Foundation are hosting a Pancreatic Cancer Walk, “Walk with Us to Find a Cure” event on Saturday, June 9th from 9:00 am- 11:30 am at 151 Parsonage Road, Edison, NJ 08818.
ParamCARE Foundation team will provide healthy refreshments at the event. ParamCARE team will be present to support this event benefiting the health of our community. ParamCARE strives on the principle that a healthy body is one where there is physical, mental and social wellness. Therefore, an effort was made to inspire the community on being physically active, socially connected and mentally blissful.
The event is held to raise awareness on Pancreatic Cancer in the community. The proceedings collected in this event will benefit Pancreatic Cancer research at The Cancer Institute of New Jersey.

The Somerset Patriots and David's Touch Foundation will host Christmas in July and ask all fans to bring a new, unwrapped toy to the game. Each fan that contributes to the toy drive will receive a complimentary ticket to a future Patriots game. David's Touch Foundation works to deliver hope and joy to children and their families in a time of need. Each year, they distribute hundreds of toys to children throughout the community. Piscataway Township National Night Out
The Piscataway Township Police Department, Community Policing Section, will sponsor a “National Night Out” on Tuesday, August 7 from 6 p.m. – 10 p.m. The event will be held at Westergard Library, 20 Murray Avenue. Stelton Road, from Murray Avenue to Evans Avenue will be closed, beginning at 5 p.m., for this event. Police officers, volunteer fire companies, volunteer rescue squads and others will be present.
“National Night Out”, America’s Night Out Against Crime, was introduced in 1984 and is a neighborhood event to help build a partnership between citizens and the police and is an effort to heighten awareness and strengthen participation in local anticrime efforts. Since its inception, the event has grown to involve more than 35.4 million people in 11,310 communities from all 50 states, U. S. territories, Canadian cities, and military bases worldwide.
Piscataway Detective Calvin Laughlin said, “National Night Out” helps to bring the police and the community together and it’s also a night to celebrate crime prevention successes. It’s a wonderful opportunity to promote police and neighborhood camaraderie.”
