Gas prices are back up again in Central Jersey, after barely changing for two weeks in a row. Following are the Central Jersey averages, followed by the AAA national average for the week ending April 18th:
Regular - Central Jersey: $3.37, up 7-cents; National: $3.66, up 5-cents.
Mid-grade - Central Jersey: $3.63, up 6-cents; National: $3.83 up 4-cents.
Premium - Central Jersey: $3.78, up 6-cents; National: $4.00, up 5-cents.
Local averages are calculated using the prices at ten gas stations in Edison, Franklin, New Brunswick, North Brunswick and South Brunswick. The national average is calculated by using the AAA's fuel gauge report, which can be found here.
