Regular - Central Jersey: $2.37, up 10-cents; National: $2.58, up 9-cents.
Mid-grade - Central Jersey: $2.64, up 10-cents; National: $2.78, up 9-cents.
Premium - Central Jersey: $2.81, up 10-cents; National: $2.97, up 9-cents.
Local averages are calculated using the prices at ten gas stations in Edison, Franklin, New Brunswick, North Brunswick and South Brunswick. The national average is calculated by using the AAA's fuel gauge report, which can be found here.
