Life can take you in directions you don't expect. Initially I attended college to study dental hygiene. I soon realized it wasn't a match made in heaven. Finding myself in the doorway of the campus radio station, I was drawn in like a cat to catnip. What else could possibly be so much fun and result in a paycheck too? As a kid, late at night, hidden away under the covers, I used to listen to the local Top 40 stations on a transistor radio. Perhaps I was a radio geek from the start. As a life-long New Jersey resident I was thrilled to be offered a new radio home here at Magic in mid-2009. It's terrific to be a part of this amazing radio station, and to meet the people who listen and join with us on projects like Women Who Make Magic and our first annual Share the Magic. I did get that college degree, by the way, but in psychology....Hmmm...How does that make you feel?... |

Loretta Windas Saturdays 7:00pm-12:00 Mid
Born long enough ago that she remembers when Star Trek, The Smothers Brothers and The Monkees were on TV, and "Good Morning Starshine" was being played on WABC 77 AM, New York. When she was about 5 years old, she recalls making her mother play the soundtrack to the movie "Cinderella" every day for about 2 months. Perhaps this is why her mother decided to get a job and get out of the house for 8 hours a day.

How many interesting things can I tell you about myself? None. However, here are some things about myself: The most important people in the world to me are my wife Kathleen and my children Tyler, Kiera and Liam (you're 5th). Other loves include the Phillies, sushi and writing about my family, the Phillies and sushi. While there isn't any type of music I don't enjoy, my favorite Magic 98.3 artists are Pink, Michael Buble and Black-Eyed Peas. I've been working in New Jersey radio since my college days and love every minute of it, and I'm very excited about being back on Magic 98.3!

For as long as I can remember, radio has always fascinated me. When I think back to my childhood, the first station I remember ever hearing on the radio is Magic 98.3, so it is even more appropriate that Magic is the first station that I have the opportunity to work at! After having the good fortune to intern with the Magic crew in the summer of ‘09, I had the even better fortune of being asked to join the on-air staff in the summer of 2010. This dream come true also would not have been possible without the unwavering support that I have received from my amazing family and friends.
Outside of the wonderful world of radio, I am an undergraduate student at Rutgers University in New Brunswick majoring in communication. I am also the General Manager of my college radio station and serve on the student executive board for the Rutgers Honors Program.
I’m so excited to be able to hang out with you on Magic 98.3 and bring you tons of soft rock variety to help you enjoy your weekend!

Corey Goldberg Sundays 8:00pm-12:00 Mid
One day, while I was looking for a way to escape from the pressures of the music degree I was pursuing, I wandered into the doorway of my college radio station and I have been involved with broadcasting ever since. My love of music led to two degrees, teaching a course on rock history, and travelling the world as a technician on concert tours. Now my radio and music paths have come together here at Magic 98.3, where I get to spend my Sunday nights with good music and the good people of Central Jersey.
