While most people will have to wait until August 24 to know if they’ll win an MTV Video Music Award, Beyonce is not most people.

According to “The Hollywood Reporter,” Queen Bey will be awarded the Michael Jackson Video Vanguard Award.

As per usual, the honor will be accompanied by what is being called an “epic” live performance at the VMAs.

Bey joins an elite group of artists to win, including Britney Spears and Madonna.

Since last year’s winner, Justin Timberlake, reunited *NSYNC as part of his performance for the award, could Bey be bring back the Destiny’s Child girls?

Like us, Bey will still have to see if she wins any of the eight other awards she’s nominated for, including:

  • Video of the Year: Beyonce feat. Jay Z, “Drunk in Love”
  • Best Female Video: Beyonce, “Partition”
  • Best Collaboration: Beyonce feat. Jay Z, “Drunk in Love”
  • Best Video with a Social Message: Beyonce, “Pretty Hurts”
  • Best Cinematography: Beyonce, “Pretty Hurts”
  • Best Editing: Beyonce, “Pretty Hurts”
  • Best Direction: Beyonce, “Pretty Hurts”
  • Best Choreography: Beyonce, “Partition”

And since last year’s winner, Justin Timberlake, reunited *NSYNC as part of his performance for the award, could Bey be bring back the Destiny’s Child girls?

We’ll have to wait to find out, but thankfully, the VMAS are coming live on Sunday, August 24 at 9pm!
