Lifetime unlocked the trailer for their “Unauthorized Saved by the Bell Story,” and there’s no better way to drum up publicity than to release a completely out-of-context clip.

But we’ll take what we can get, and the totally bonkers preview highlights the way the cult classic was marred by tension between the cast and crew.

Entirely soundtracked by Bell Biv Devoe’s “Poison,” the actresses playing Lark Voorhies and Elizabeth Berkley whisper about Tiffani Thiessen’s flirtiness, before the trio vies for attention during a photo shoot.

The situation get weirder when Mario Lopez inexplicably starts doing pushups on the sidelines, and Dustin Diamond joins in.

A be-wigged Mark-Paul Gosselaar tells the artist formerly known as Screech to knock it off, before a verbal tiff ensues with “Slater.”

“Well, the network didn’t kill us, but the hormones might,” Dennis "Mr. Belding" Haskins cracks, proving that art and life might not be so different after all.

Lifetime will air the Unauthorized Saved by the Bell Story” on Monday, September 1. Will you be watching?
